Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree is preferred.
• Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) is required; PTCB preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy or admixture technician; IV sterile admixture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders to ensure accuracy and determine products needed.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered by the prescriber.
• Perform proper donning and doffing of PPE for aseptic preparation.
• Order, stock, and dispense medical supplies and drugs; manage inventory.
• Maintain logs and records for temperatures, waste, controlled substances, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Physicians, Nursing, Pharmacy Operations, and Procurement to obtain medications.
