Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC is seeking an Admixture Tech II to perform complex technical skills in preparing hazardous and nonhazardous agents under supervision. Proficiency in sterile product preparation and understanding PPE usage is essential.

The role requires managing inventories, collaborating with multiple departments, and traveling to meet clinic needs up to 75–100% of the time. A pharmacy technician certification and prior admixture experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• College degree preferred.
• Professional pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) from PTCB preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy or admixture technician, preferably in a clinical setting.
• IV sterile admixture experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy and quantity.
• Compute drug measurements for admixture.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered.
• Perform proper donning/doffing of garb for aseptic preparation.
• Maintain records for clinical trials, waste, temperatures, and PPE.
• Order, stock, and dispense medications and supplies; inventory management.
• Coordinate with Physicians, Nursing, Pharmacy Operations, Financial Counselors, and Procurement.
• Travel 75%–100% weekly; support multiple clinics.
