Qualifications

  • Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Access and accurate keyboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform varied assignments with minimal supervision, using independent judgment.
  • Produce documents from written, oral or electronically produced materials; proofread typed materials for accuracy.
  • Answer phones, screen calls, and greet visitors.
  • Maintain files and records; schedule appointments; make travel arrangements.
  • Open, organize, and distribute mail; inventory and order office supplies.
  • Operate general office equipment (copier, fax) as required.

(2) Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: (a) proficient in College standard software including knowledge of MSWord/Excel/Access software, accurate keyboarding; (b) excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of confidentiality required; c) ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize work; (d) good oral and written communication skills; (e) ability to understand and follow oral or written instructions; (f) accurate keyboarding skills necessary. (3) Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience with demonstrated competency to perform the duties involved, preferably in a public oriented position.
