Are you an organized and personable professional who enjoys creating a welcoming experience for clients and supporting a busy team? We are partnering with a well-established public accounting firm in Colonial Heights that is seeking a dependable and professional Receptionist to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the welcoming face of an organization while also supporting day-to-day office operations. You'll work closely with clients and internal team members, assist with administrative responsibilities, and play an important role in keeping the office organized and running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming experience.
- Answer and direct incoming calls while managing messages and inquiries efficiently.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, email correspondence, and client communications.
- Process, distribute, and electronically file client documents and tax-related materials.
- Coordinate conference rooms, meetings, and other office needs as necessary.
- Maintain an organized reception area and assist with keeping common areas stocked and presentable.
- Manage office supplies and coordinate maintenance or repairs for office equipment when needed.
- Enter and maintain client information within internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Assist with filing, document organization, and general administrative projects.
- Support daily office operations and jump in wherever needed to assist the team and meet deadlines.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or office support experience required.
- Experience working in a professional services or office environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and standard office technology.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Professional, dependable, and comfortable interacting with clients and team members at all levels.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative and supportive member of the team.
