Salary Range: $20.00 To $27.00 Hourly
We’re a small team looking for a reliable Administrative Assistant to keep the office running and help with day-to‑day people support. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, handle core admin work, and assist with recruiting, onboarding, records, and routine HR tasks. This is a hands‑on hybrid role—not a standalone HR generalist—for someone organized, discreet, and comfortable wearing more than one hat.
Greet visitors and answer phones, email, and walk‑in inquiries
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel or logistics
Prepare correspondence, documents, and meeting materials
Maintain digital and paper files; keep shared documents organized
Order supplies, work with vendors, and keep the office running smoothly
Assist with invoices, expense reports, or other light finance‑admin tasks as needed
Support special projects and other duties as assigned
Post job ads, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including new‑hire packets and exit paperwork
Maintain confidential employee files and accurate personnel records
Track time off, attendance, and basic employee data
Help with benefits enrollment and routine questions about policies or procedures
Support payroll by collecting timesheets and flagging new hires, terminations, or changes
Assist with handbook updates and new‑hire orientation
1–2+ years of administrative experience (HR or office support a plus)
Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
Discretion with confidential information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Comfort juggling priorities in a small-business setting
Experience with payroll, HRIS, or benefits platforms (e.g., Gusto, ADP, BambooHR)
Familiarity with I-9s and basic employment paperwork
