Job Summary
The Office Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to help maintain an organized and efficient office environment. This position is responsible for filing, document management, data entry, office supply organization, and other administrative tasks that support daily business operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working independently on routine administrative assignments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Organize, maintain, and update physical and electronic filing systems.
- Scan, copy, and electronically archive documents.
- Sort, label, and file paperwork in accordance with company recordkeeping practices.
- Assist with records retention and document organization projects.
- Perform data entry and update company databases, spreadsheets, and records.
- Assemble reports, packets, presentations, and other business documents.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and administrative materials.
- Order office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Organize supply rooms, file rooms, and common administrative work areas.
- Support special administrative projects and office improvement initiatives.
- Verifies common areas and conference rooms are clean, well-supplied, and reflective of a professional working environment.
Essential skills and experience
- High school student, high school graduate, or equivalent.
- Previous administrative, clerical, office, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to change, and take on additional duties and tasks
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Trustworthy, self-motivated and dependable
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-take and prioritize work
Nonessential skills and experience
- Advanced degree in human resources, business, management, or a related field
- Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now HRIS system
- Operates in a demanding, fast-paced, people-oriented manufacturing environment with frequent changes and interruptions, and multiple project assignments. Works with a variety of people including vendors, customers, employees, managers, and executives.

- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.

- Ability to move throughout the office to retrieve, distribute, and organize materials.
