Job summary

The Shield Co Management, LLC is seeking an Additional Services Technician to deliver specialized pest control and home protection services, including termite treatments, mosquito control, insulation installation, and exclusion work. You will combine hands-on service with accurate documentation and a focus on customer care.

Responsibilities include following routes, maintaining records, ensuring vehicle and PPE readiness, and explaining treatment plans to customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction tasks, including ladders and power tools, safely.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history.
• Earn and maintain state-required pest control training and licensing if applicable (provided).

• Complete initial indoor and outdoor pest control applications for new customers with quality and detail.
• Explain treatment plans, features and benefits while addressing customer questions and concerns.

• Maintain accurate records of customers, services and appointments using company systems.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles, equipment and PPE to ensure safe operations.
• Promote customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and adhering to company standards.

• Perform specialized pest control services, including termite control, mosquito treatments, insulation installation, exclusion work, and other additional service offerings.
• Complete initial indoor and outdoor pest control applications for new customers with a focus on quality, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining treatment plans, service features, and benefits while addressing customer questions and concerns.
• Follow assigned service routes and schedules, coordinating effectively with office staff and management to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and organized customer, service, and appointment records using company technology and systems.
• Inspect and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and personal protective gear to ensure safe and effective operations.
• Promote customer satisfaction by consistently delivering high‑quality service and adhering to company standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service experience required and demonstrated mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction‑related tasks, including operating ladders and power tools safely and effectively.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the role.
• Earn and maintain state‑required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

Physical Demands and Working Requirements

Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting. Requires clear vision for both close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus. Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions. Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required. Moderate noise level in the work environment.
