Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking Counselors at multiple levels to support the recovery journey of our patients.

The role involves completing documentation, conducting patient orientation, and ensuring proper placement within treatment phases, while providing crisis counseling and referrals. This position offers opportunities to advance through a structured Counselor Tier Program and access extensive continuing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required for Counselor I/II/III.
• Professional licensure/certifications listed (CAD/CADC/LPCA etc.).
• Master’s degree or higher preferred for Counselor III.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation in accordance with applicable standards.
• Provide patients orientation on program objectives, phase requirements, rules, and rights to help adjustment.
• Assess and place patients per treatment phases; maintain updated clinical documentation and patient charts.
• Counsel patients in crisis situations and those not complying with program requirements to improve outcomes.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources and participate in case conferences and reviews.
