Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Counselor to support the recovery journey of patients across our network. You will document treatment progress, conduct assessments, and provide crisis counseling in a compliant, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Associates or better.
• CAAC certification required or in progress.
• Bachelor’s or higher with 1 year clinical experience (or CADC/ equivalent).
• Master’s or above with practicum in health/human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries and other documentation per standards.
• Provide orientation on program objectives, phase requirements, rules, sanctions, and patient rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases per standards and policies.
• Update clinical documentation and patient charts.
• Counsel patients in crisis and refer to community resources as needed.
• Arrange referrals to agencies and resources in the community.
• Participate in case conferences and reviews; maintain confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Attend trainings, supervisions, and team meetings as required.

Education

Associate’s Degree

CAAC (Certified Associate Addiction Counselor)

Bachelor’s Degree (related field) with 1 year clinical experience

Master’s Degree or higher (related field) with practicum in health/human services
