Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a Counselor to contribute to the recovery journey of our patients. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, document progress, and provide crisis counseling in line with federal and state standards.

Qualifications

• CAAC or CADC certification required or in progress with plan to obtain CADC within three years.
• Bachelor's degree or higher with related field and clinical experience; multiple pathways listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries and other documentation according to standards.
• Provide orientation to patients about program objectives, phase requirements, rules, and patient rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases and policies; update clinical charts.
• Counsel patients in crisis situations and address noncompliance consequences.
• Arrange referrals to community resources; participate in case conferences and reviews.
• Develop knowledge of confidentiality, methadone treatment, and counseling certifications.
