Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a qualified Counselor to support patients on their recovery journey. You will document treatment progress, conduct patient orientation, and ensure placements align with program phases and regulatory standards.

The role involves crisis counseling, referrals, and collaboration with teams to monitor care, complete intakes, group sessions, and required reporting. A strong credential track and continued education are valued.

Qualifications

• Education credentials as listed above with acceptable credential mix.
• Various CADC/CAAC/CADC/CAADC credentials encouraged or required.
• Experience in chemical dependency and counseling settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per standards.
• Orient patients to program objectives, phase requirements, rules, and patient rights.
• Assess and place patients by treatment phase following federal/state guidance.
• Maintain clinical documentation and patient charts per policies.
• Counsel patients in crisis and assist with resources and coping strategies.
• Refer to community resources when appropriate and conduct plan reviews.
• Attend case conferences, trainings, team meetings; submit reports monthly/quarterly.

Associate’s Degree

Bachelor's Degree in related field

Master's Degree or higher in related field

CAAC (Certified Associate Addiction Counselor)

CADC

CAADC

LCSW / LPC / LSW / LICSW (related licenses)
