Job summary

Unum is hiring an ADA Specialist in the Leave Management Center. The role acts as a primary contact for employers and HR, guiding ADA, FMLA, and disability-related processes. You will educate on stay at work, return to work, and workplace accommodations, coordinating with medical and vocational resources as needed.

The position emphasizes collaboration with managers, employees, and clinicians to ensure compliant, effective modifications and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, relevant business experience.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in disability management, leave management, workers comp.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a "single point of contact" for ADA customers' managers and HR regarding ADA, leave management, FMLA, and STD/LTD claims.
• Provide consultation and education on stay at work or return to work and ADA considerations.
• Coordinate between employer, employee and physician to obtain forms and educate on Unum's role and plans.
• Review medical information to determine worksite modification needs and coordinate evaluations.
