Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to support the Adult population at the Lincoln hospital. The role collaborates with physicians, nurses, therapists, and care management to deliver evidence-based evaluations and treatments.

The position involves weekend coverage with some weekday shifts to meet census and vacation coverage needs, and requires a state license in Speech Language Pathology and a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Applicable state license for Speech Language Pathology required.
• BLS certification per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, directs, and administers programs of Speech Language Pathology.
• Directs and supervises activities of rehab staff and students.
• Documents evaluations, progress notes and discharge planning.
