Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in acute care rehabilitation. You will evaluate adults with stroke, brain injury and other conditions, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, state licensure, BLS within 90 days, and ASHA CCC or CFY eligibility. 16+ hours per month with weekend rotation; compensation includes hourly differential and weekend pay.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state you work; BLS within 90 days.
• ASHA CCC or CFY eligible.

Responsibilities

• Interpret referrals and evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Establish a written plan of care and implement treatment; monitor outcomes and adjust plan.
• Complete documentation, billing and scheduling; maintain productivity and compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team; assist with discharge planning and family instruction.
