Complete Care - New Jersey & PA is seeking an energetic Activity Director to lead recreational programs for seniors. You will design engaging activities, foster socialization, and support residents’ overall well-being in a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, budget adherence, and ongoing program development. A domestic care background and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Certification completion.
• ADC, CDP, or CTRS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care, as a supervisor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary team.
• Computer knowledge
• Ability to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary team.
• Develop care plans, monitoring systems and all documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance programs, State survey processes, Residents’ Rights.
• Supervising the Recreation Department personnel.
• Creating, planning, implementing monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Follow budgetary guidelines for the department.
• Creating, Planning, and Implementing Facility Event Calendar for staff
• Creating person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and special sensory activities.
