Job summary

Complete Care Management in Severndale, MD is seeking a full-time Activities Director to lead resident engagement on day shifts. Starting pay is $25 per hour, with no on-call duties.

Responsibilities include developing a diverse activity program, assessing residents’ interests and abilities, supervising events, and performing duties as assigned by the Administrator. Prior long-term care experience and an active ADC certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing staff preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.
• Previous long term care experience preferred.
• Active ADC certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop an activity program that is diverse and sensitive to residents’ needs.
• Determine individual resident interests and expectations regarding programming.
• Conduct assessments of physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
• Supervise and participate in events alongside department staff.
• Other duties as assigned by Administrator.
