Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Director to enhance the well-being of our residents. You will design engaging programs, coordinate events, and foster a warm, social environment that feels like home.

You'll lead the Recreation Department, work with a multidisciplinary team, manage schedules, and ensure documentation and QA compliance while promoting resident rights and meaningful daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or certification.
• Must hold ADC, CDP, or CTRS credential.
• At least 2 years in long-term care in a supervisory role.
• Excellent communication with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recreation programs to engage residents.
• Supervise the Recreation Department staff.
• Create monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Manage department budget guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with QA, state survey processes, and Residents' Rights.
• Collaborate with care teams to integrate person-centered activities.
• Plan facility events calendar.

Activity Director Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Certification completion

• Must possess an ADC, CDP, or CTRS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care, as a supervisor
