Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a compassionate Activity Director to bring joy, engagement, and companionship to our residents in New Jersey. You will help create a vibrant, welcoming environment by planning and assisting with recreational activities that foster socialization, creativity, and well-being.

As a key member of the team, you will develop care plans, supervise the Recreation Department, and coordinate monthly calendars and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Certification completion required.
• Must possess an ADC, CDP, or CTRS.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care as a supervisor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Computer knowledge required.
• Ability to manage time effectively.”

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Develop care plans, monitoring systems, and all documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance programs, State survey processes, Residents’ Rights.
• Supervise the Recreation Department personnel.
• Create, plan, implement monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Follow budgetary guidelines for the department.
• Create, planning, and implementing Facility Event Calendar for staff.
• Create person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and special sensory activities.
