Job summary

Complete Care at Shorrock Gardens in Brick Township, NJ is seeking a compassionate Activity Director to plan and lead engaging programs that enhance residents’ social, creative, and emotional well–being. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to create meaningful moments and a welcoming home-like environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or relevant certification, ADC/CDP/CTRS, and at least 2 years of long-term care supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Certification completion.
• ADC/CDP/CTRS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care as a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary team.
• Develop care plans, monitoring systems and documentation.
• Knowledge of QA programs, state survey processes, Residents’ Rights.
• Supervise Recreation Department personnel.
• Create, plan, and implement monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Follow budgetary guidelines for the department.
• Create Facility Event Calendar for staff.
• Create person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and sensory activities.

Activity Director Qualifications
