Job summary

Fisher Senior Care & Rehab in Mayville, MI is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver and lead life enrichment programs daily. The role includes promoting a welcoming environment, assisting with group and individual activities, and supporting patient engagement.

Scheduling includes 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays. We offer competitive hourly pay, yearly wage increases, and extensive benefits such as PTO, holiday pay, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients based on background, interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display themed and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

• $14.50 per hour
