Job summary

Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre is seeking a part-time Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily life enrichment programs. You will promote hospitality and customer service in interactions with guests and families, and assist in group or individual life enrichment activities.

The role supports meaningful engagement for residents and requires teamwork and a caring attitude. You will work 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays, and may participate in transportation to activities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients based on background, interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

The ActivitiesAide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. You will earn:

• Starting Wages $14.00 per hour
