Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Dimondale is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily life enrichment programs. The role promotes hospitality, excellent service, and a positive healing environment through engaging activities such as music, arts & crafts, and group sessions.

You will assist in leading programs, encourage attendance and transport to events, and tailor activities to residents’ backgrounds and abilities while contributing to a cheerful, well-decorated

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to background, life enrichment interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

The Life Enrichment Activities Aide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting both physical & mental health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games, listen to music and sing songs, and do arts & crafts - this position may be for you!

You Will Earn

• Starting wages at $14.25 an hour
