Job summary

Holt Senior Care & Rehab Center is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily life enrichment programs that enhance health and well-being for residents. You will manage group and individual activities, help organize celebrations, and promote a warm, healing environment through engaging interactions with guests and families.

Minimum 1 year in long-term care preferred; Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy preferred.
• Excellent customer service and a commitment to Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment activities.
• Evaluate patients based on background, interests, abilities and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display themed decorations throughout the facility.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred

This is a full time position
