Job summary

NexCare Health is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily life enrichment programs that promote health and well‑being. The role involves assisting in group and individual activities, encouraging attendance, and ensuring a compassionate, welcoming environment for guests and their families.

The position is part-time with day or afternoon/evening shifts, includes rotating weekends and some holidays, and offers competitive wages plus strong benefits including tuition reimbursement, 401k

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate care.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to background, interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

The ActivitiesAide delivers and leads life enrichment programs every day. Our calendar is filled with amazing and creative activities that bring fulfillment and joy. These activities have the dual purpose of being therapeutic and promoting health and well-being. We are always trying new fun ideas. If you like to play games and do crafts, this position may be for you!

You will earn: Starting $16.00 per hour! NEW WAGES!

Base wages $15.15 - $16.95 per hour, based on years of experience! PLUS $0.85 per hour hero pay!

We need your help with these scheduling needs:

• Day Shift or Afternoons / Evenings shift available
• Allshifts include rotating weekends and some holidays

You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.

You will evaluate patients according to their background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.

You will develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
