Job summary

Dimondale Nursing Center is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Aide to lead daily life enrichment programs and promote a positive healing environment. If you enjoy games, music, singing, arts & crafts, this role offers opportunities to create thoughtful activities that benefit physical and mental well-being.

You will promote hospitality, support group activities and help transport participants to activities, contributing to meaningful experiences for residents in a caring setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering compassionate care.
• Team player and supportive to teammates.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment activities.
• Evaluate patients based on background, interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

You will earn:

• Starting wages at $14.25 an hour
• PLUS Hero Pay ($0.85 per hour!)
