Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Fenton is hiring an Activities Aide to lead daily life enrichment programs and promote a warm, healing environment for residents and families. The role focuses on hospitality, engagement, and supporting therapeutic activities in a long-term care setting.

You will assist with group and individual activities, encouraging participation and coordinating transportation to events.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to life enrichment activities.
• Evaluate residents according to background, life enrichment interests, abilities, physical limitations, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.
