Job summary

John Costa State Farm is seeking an Acquisitions Specialist to drive new business and expand the agency’s customer base from a remote setting.

This sales-dominant role requires experience with State Farm products, licensing (P&C and Life), and a proven ability to prospect, follow up, and close deals while maintaining a strong pipeline. Bilingual skills (Spanish/Portuguese) are a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of State Farm agency experience required.
• Prior insurance sales experience required.
• Active Property & Casualty and Life insurance licenses required.
• Proven ability to generate, manage, and close sales opportunities.
• Strong phone, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Spanish or Portuguese fluency preferred, but not required.

John Costa State Farm is seeking an experienced Acquisitions Specialist to help drive new business and expand the agency’s customer base.

This is a sales-dominant remote position for someone who knows the State Farm environment, understands the pace of agency sales, and is comfortable consistently prospecting, following up, overcoming objections, and closing business.

We are looking for a motivated producer who can work independently, manage a strong pipeline, and stay focused on results in a remote setting.

Spanish or Portuguese fluency is preferred, but not required.

What You’ll Focus On

Your primary responsibility will be bringing new customers into the agency and converting opportunities into written business.

You will:
