Job summary

Darktrace in the United States (Montana) is seeking a Solutions Engineer on the Acquisition Team to lead technical sales from discovery through evaluation and design. You will translate cybersecurity risks into measurable business outcomes across network, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Background in pre-sales/solutions engineering in cybersecurity or SaaS.
• Experience with networking, cloud, and security architectures.
• Ability to design solutions, run demos/PoCs, and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication, consultative selling, and business acumen.
• Fundamental understanding of AI technologies (LLM, ML, NLP).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant Cloud, Security, and/or AI certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of new deals from discovery to close, owning momentum.
• Align solutions to SOC workflows and MEDDPICC, uncover pain and impact.
• Architect scalable solutions across Darktrace’s platform and integrations.
• Deliver high-impact demos and technical storytelling to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to accelerate deals.
