Job summary

Darktrace is seeking a Solutions Engineer on the Acquisition Team to drive net-new business by leading the technical sales process from discovery through evaluation and business justification.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating cybersecurity risks into measurable outcomes across network, cloud, and hybrid environments, and you will partner with Account Executives to qualify and close opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pre-sales/solutions engineering experience in cybersecurity or SaaS.
• Ability to design solutions, run demos/PoCs, and influence stakeholders.
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of new deals from discovery to close.
• Partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to progress opportunities.
• Architect scalable solutions across Darktrace’s platform (Network, Cloud, Email, Identity, Endpoint).
• Deliver high-impact demos and translate cybersecurity concepts into business outcomes.
• Manage solution validation, ROI framing, and competitive positioning.
