Job summary

CFS in Madison, WI is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Leader to oversee daily AR operations, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and collections. This role offers a hybrid schedule with two days of remote work each week and a pathway for internal promotion within a family-owned company.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of AR experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication and organizational skills to drive accuracy and efficiency across the AR function and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts receivable experience, including exposure to collections, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is highly valued.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AR operations including invoicing, payment applications, account reconciliations, collections, and customer account maintenance.
• Lead and support the AR team by establishing priorities, monitoring performance, and promoting accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor aging reports, resolve outstanding balances, investigate discrepancies, and partner with internal teams to address billing and payment issues.
• Support month-end close activities, reconcile AR accounts, and provide reporting and analysis related to receivables, collections, and cash flow.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen internal controls, and streamline billing and collection processes.

Salary:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, payment applications, account reconciliations, collections, and customer account maintenance.
