Job summary

CFS in Illinois is seeking an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to manage commercial collections, reconcile accounts, and support cash flow objectives. You will help resolve past-due accounts and ensure accurate documentation in the ERP system.

You will collaborate with customer service, operations, and sales to resolve disputes, support month-end AR, and uphold data integrity while contributing to overall business performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Accounts Receivable and B2B collections experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Experience working within ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.
• Strong account reconciliation and dispute resolution experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial collections activities and follow up on past-due customer accounts
• Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and chargebacks
• Review aging reports and prioritize collection efforts to support cash flow goals
• Partner with customer service, accounting, and sales teams to resolve account disputes
• Maintain accurate account documentation and collection activity within the ERP system
• Support reporting, account analysis, and month-end AR processes
