Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Prior Accounts Receivable, accounting, or customer account management experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent data entry, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interact professionally.
• Ability to handle high volume of accounts and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply customer payments accurately and timely using various methods.
• Maintain customer account records and post invoices, memos, and adjustments.
• Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve unapplied cash issues.
• Review AR aging reports and follow up on past-due balances.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status and disputes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Shipping, and Accounting to resolve billing concerns.
• Prepare daily cash reports and assist with month-end closings and reconciliations.
• Maintain organized AR files and records; manage high-volume workloads.
