Job summary

Tyler Pipe and Coupling is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support financial operations in Tyler, TX. You will process vendor invoices, issue payments, and reconcile accounts while collaborating with Purchasing, Receiving, and Accounting.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to manage a high volume of invoices, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment. On-site position with standard hours and salary range of $52,000–$58,000 per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Accounts Payable experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong data entry with high accuracy and speed.
• Ability to handle high volumes of invoices and vendor accounts in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Willingness to work 100% onsite and to perform overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Review invoices, PO, and receiving docs for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare and process payment runs (checks and electronic).
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries promptly.
• Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized AP files and records.
• Manage many vendor accounts while meeting deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in AP.
