Job summary

Tyler Pipe and Coupling in Tyler, Texas is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage advanced accounting and financial reporting, including month-end close, GL management, and internal control support. This on-site role partners with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting.

You will work with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365), drive process improvements, and contribute to automation initiatives while preparing statements and analyses for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts; investigate variances.
• Prepare monthly statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Support internal controls, policies, and audits.
• Assist inventory, cost accounting, and fixed assets accounting.
