Job summary

McWane, Inc. is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk in Tyler, Texas. The role focuses on processing a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, reconciling statements, and maintaining vendor records.

The position is 100% on-site, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a pay range of $52,000–$58,000 per year. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (associates preferred) and experience with D365 or similar ERP, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple invoices and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting-related degree preferred.
• Accounts Payable experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP/accounting system is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a high volume of invoices and vendor accounts in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Review invoices, purchase orders, and receiving docs for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare and process payment runs (checks and electronic payments).
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized AP files and records.
• Manage many vendor accounts and transactions while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within Accounts Payable.
