Job summary

Majors Plastics Inc is seeking a dependable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Accounting team in Omaha. This role supports day-to-day AR functions, maintains accurate customer accounts, and collaborates with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Essential duties include invoicing, credit memos, EDI submissions, payment application, and month-end tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or business preferred.
• Experience with accounts receivable and billing processes.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create invoices for customers based on goods/services received.
• Process credit memos for returned goods or short shipments.
• Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites or systems.
• Submit invoices by electronic data interchange (EDI).
• Follow up with customers on overdue invoices and resolve disputes.
• Investigate and clear invoices on payment hold.
• Submit statements of accounts when requested.
• Verify pricing per customer agreement.
• Assist with phone calls and month-end reports.
• Apply customer payments and update records.
• Provide documentation requested by customers.
