Concentra, Inc in Lombard, IL is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our corporate central billing office. You will perform AR duties to ensure timely and accurate collection of payments, reconcile cash daily, and report receivables in line with company procedures.

The role requires at least three years of collection experience, proficiency with Excel/Outlook/Word, and strong customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of demonstrated collection experience, preferably in occupational health.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA and PHI.
• Detail oriented with problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Resolves escalated issues with employers, insurers, TPAs, and labs.
• Processes rebills and writes correspondence to customers.
• Monitors aging reports to ensure timely collection.
• Reviews documents and reconciles discrepancies.
• Performs account payment reconciliations.
• Prepares and distributes AR and past-due reports.
• Negotiates repayment terms on past-due accounts.
• Decides on referring accounts for collection or write-off.
• Trains new employees and assists peers.
• Duties may change at any time with or without notice.
• Resolves employer issues such as misapplied or missing payments.
• Interacts with clinics to resolve invoice charges and secure documentation.
• Monitors rebills for open balances and assigns work to meet deadlines.
