Job summary

Concentra is seeking a full-time billing specialist to perform posting, reconsiderations, and adjustments for all payment types in the billing and collection system. Location is Addison, Texas, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule and 100% onsite work environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with medical billing exposure, strong communication, and organizational skills to ensure timely and accurate processing per Central Billing Office guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School education; prefer some college or specialty training in medical billing or relevant experience.
• Experience with a multi-location practice.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Payment application to the billing system.
• Transfer payments to other Central Business Offices as needed.
• Process zero pay explanations and reasons for zero pay.
• Perform posting duties according to policy.
• Verify payments and match balances.
• Process batches and correct payment types.
