Candidates should have 2+ years of collections experience, a High School Diploma/GED, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP and AS400 experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle confidential information professionally to achieve collections targets/goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounts receivable functions for assigned accounts.
• Identify outstanding debts and plan actions to recover payments.
• Make heavy phone calls to debtors to locate payment status.
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
• Investigate discrepancies and maintain customer relationships.
• Update account status in the database and alert supervisors as needed.
• Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.
