Job summary

Cintas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to handle all accounts receivable functions, actively pursue outstanding payments, and maintain strong customer relationships. The role involves heavy phone outreach, resolving discrepancies, and negotiating payment plans.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years in collections, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. SAP and AS400 experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of collections experience.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally to achieve collections targets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounts receivable functions and track assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
• Plan actions to recover outstanding payments and contact debtors regarding status.
• Perform heavy phone activity with customers to collect payments.
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans with customers.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies; answer questions and resolve issues.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and update account status regularly.
