Job summary

Cintas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to manage all AR functions, identify overdue accounts, and plan recovery strategies. The role involves heavy customer contact, negotiating payment plans, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate account records.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 2+ years of collections experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP/AS400 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of collections experience.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally to meet collections targets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and intranet/internet.

Responsibilities

• Handle all accounts receivable related functions.
• Identify outstanding debts and plan recovery actions.
• Make heavy phone calls to customers regarding payments.
• Locate and contact debtors to discuss payment status.
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues with accounts.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and update account status regularly.
• Escalate accounts as needed to supervisors for unresolved cases.
