Job summary

CFS in Muskegon, MI invites an AR Specialist to join a fast-paced, globally focused accounting team. This full-time role supports high-volume accounts receivable processes in a manufacturing environment, delivering timely cash postings, accurate remittance handling, and reliable account reconciliation.

You will collaborate with finance leadership, participate in collections activities, and help resolve discrepancies while maintaining data integrity in SAP-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AR experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with cash application, payment posting, collections, or account reconciliation.
• Basic Excel skills (filtering and spreadsheet maintenance).
• Experience with SAP/SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and post high-volume customer payments and cash applications.
• Retrieve, review, and organize remittance information from customer portals.
• Reconciling customer accounts and researching payment discrepancies.
• Manage collections activities and customer follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Process credit memos and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
