Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager for a fully remote role aligned with Eastern Time business hours. This position oversees a small AR team, owns the end-to-end AR cycle across multiple states, and drives process improvements to optimize cash flow.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 1-2 accounts receivable and billing specialists, overseeing daily workflow and performance.
• Own the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle for multi-state operations, ensuring timely billing and cash collection.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for billing, payment application, and collections follow-up.
• Manage complex account reconciliations, dispute resolution, and collaborate with operations to address root causes.
• Prepare and present AR aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and other key financial metrics to leadership.
• Maintain mastery of QuickBooks Online and lead the transition to Xero.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state sales tax tracking and remittance.
• Handle high-value collections escalations and coordinate with external collection agencies as needed.
