Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee daily AP activities across SC&DE and AxS segments. You will lead AP staff, train team members, resolve issues, and monitor invoice entry and payments to ensure proper coding, approvals, and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in AP with at least 2 years in supervision (5+ staff), strong Excel skills, and familiarity with government contracting and ERP systems such as Unanet or Oracle Fusion.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of Accounts Payable experience
• 2+ years of supervisor experience with groups of 5+
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with government contracting, FAR/CAS compliance preferred
• Experience with Unanet and/or Oracle Fusion preferred

Responsibilities

• Voucher AP invoices and support check runs, ACH and wires
• Review AP aging and payment requests for timely approvals
• Coordinate verification of open receipts and clear discrepancies
• Review supplier set-up including payment terms and banking info
• Identify processes to improve payment timeliness and discount opportunities
• Ensure timely month-end close of Accounts Payable and accruals
