Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an AP Supervisor to support daily accounts payable operations in the Space, Cyber & Directed Energy and Autonomous Systems segments. You will train staff, resolve problems, monitor invoicing and payments, and ensure timely processing with strong process controls.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years AP experience, 2+ years supervising 5+ staff, and proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Unanet and Oracle Fusion is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience with groups of 5+.
• Experience with government contracting, FAR/CAS compliance preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion and Unanet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Voucher AP invoices, support check runs, ACH and wires, PSIGen (AP intake) and/or data entry as needed.
• Review AP aging reports and payment requests to ensure timely approval of invoices and payments.
• Coordinate verification of open receipts monthly and work with cross-department personnel to clear problem receipt information.
• Review setup of new suppliers including payment terms and banking information.
• Identify process improvements to ensure timely payment of invoices and discount opportunities.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing of Accounts Payable per internal controls (SOX).
• Monitor and assist with P-Card and T&E card program management and training of users.
• Participate in systems testing and Oracle Fusion implementation activities.
