Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee day-to-day AP activities across business segments in the US. You will manage invoices, payments, and the AP staff, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely processing.

The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Accounts Payable and emphasizes training, problem resolution, and process improvements. Required are 4–6 years in AP, at least 2 years in supervision, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience with groups of 5 or more.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with government contracting, FAR/CAS compliance and/or aerospace and defense is preferred.
• Experience with Unanet and/or Oracle Fusion preferred.

Responsibilities

• AP invoicing and payments processing; review aging reports and payment requests.
• Coordinate verification of open receipts and clear discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close and accruals for AP.
• Ensure proper coding and timely payments; support discount opportunities.
• Support training and process improvements within the AP team.
