Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor in Saint Paul, MN for a hybrid role within a growing Finance team. The position combines leadership of the AP staff with hands-on processing, focusing on accurate invoice and reimbursement handling and internal control improvements.

The role emphasizes automation, including Emburse, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Onboarding begins onsite with core hours 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., evolving to a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team.
• Associates degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong AP knowledge including invoices, credit cards, employee reimbursements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead, mentor, and develop AP staff.
• Review vendor invoices, credit card transactions, and employee reimbursements per policies.
• Improve internal controls and support automation initiatives.
• Perform hands-on AP tasks as needed while managing workload.
