Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to manage invoice entry, coding, and PO matching in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely vendor communications, and adherence to internal controls.

You will be part of a team ensuring smooth month-end activities and supporting audits. Initial onsite presence in Vernon Hills with a hybrid arrangement after training, offering collaboration with finance and operations teams while maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate degree in a related field.
• Approximately 13 years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal).
• Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review AP inbox daily and respond to supplier inquiries about payment status and invoices.
• Enter invoices with proper coding, PO matching, and required approvals.
• Reconcile processed work and verify data entries against system reports.
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve discrepancies.
• Build and maintain professional vendor relationships and communicate about payments.
