Ferretti Search is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead a four‑person AP team while remaining actively involved in day‑to‑day operations. The role focuses on ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement of processes, including 1099 handling and lease-related tasks.

The ideal candidate will be independent, tech‑savvy, and comfortable driving automation initiatives within a mid‑to‑high‑volume AP environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience with 1099s is required.
• Lease/accounting experience is a strong plus but not required.
• Comfortable working in a mid‑to‑high‑volume AP environment.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new accounting systems and processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented approach with the ability to lead by example.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support a team of four Accounts Payable professionals while remaining hands‑on with daily AP functions.
• Oversee 1099 preparation, review, corrections, and filing.
• Set up, review, and maintain leases and related documentation.
• Manage new vendor setup and vendor information updates.
• Set up and verify ACH payments for employees and vendors.
• Process and review a mid‑to‑high volume of invoices, including both automated and manual processes.
• Manage check runs and ACH files, including bank submission and release.
• Handle voids, garnishments, ACH returns, positive pay, and uncashed check research.
• Assist with AP data entry and invoice processing as needed.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Cross‑train team members and help maintain consistent AP processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual processes.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve AP‑related questions and issues.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance, coaching, and support to the AP team.
