Top Stack is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee daily AP operations and manage a team, ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments. This role focuses on leadership, process improvements, and maintaining efficient financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AP processes, GL accounting, and the ability to coach and develop accounting staff while supporting month-end close and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in accounts payable preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, general ledger accounting and vendor payments.
• Experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, vendor payments and general ledger activity.
• Manage, train and develop AP team members.
• Review vendor accounts, resolve payment discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor AP aging reports and ensure accurate, timely payments.
• Process wire transfers, ACH payments and other payment transactions.
• Support month-end close activities, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Oversee vendor setup, approvals and year-end tax reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, systems and internal controls.
• Support accounting activities related to business transitions and integrations.
• Assist with external audits and collaborate with internal departments.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

4+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience

5+ years of supervisory experience in accounts payable

Strong understanding of AP processes, GL accounting and vendor payments

Experience managing and developing accounting teams

Knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting

Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
